Made in Japan, each bar is of equal length; but, curiously, each note is created from the acoustic qualities of different wood species. The various species are elegantly etched into each piece in Japanese, and include Cypress, Narra, Chinaberry, Cherry, Bigleaf Magnolia, Amur Cork, Horse Chestnut and Birch. The beauty and sound of Japanese trees can be heard with each note.
